Aerostar Hotel in Moscow Selects SoftBrands Epitome PMS

Minneapolis, Minn, [16 July 2008] – SoftBrands, Inc. (AMEX:  SBN), a global supplier of enterprise application software, and Libra Hospitality, a provider of information technology solutions to hotels across Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, today announced that the Aerostar Hotel in Moscow has selected Libra Hospitality as its technology partner to implement SoftBrands Epitome property management system (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) solution and Libra OnDemand CRM to manage its four-star hotel and banqueting/conference centre. Libra Hospitality is the official distributor and business partner of SoftBrands, Squirrel Systems and Premier Software in Russia.

“Aerostar is the third hotel introduced to the Moscow market by WEL Management Company,” said Victor Brovka, WEL Management Company general director.  “Both of our existing hotels - Borodino and Milan are already Libra Hospitality customers using Epitome PMS from SoftBrands so we chose Epitome PMS for Aerostar as well. We are sure we made the right choice. The software is localized and supports all the necessary requirements for the Russian market.  In addition, the software is very intuitive and gives almost unlimited instruments for both hotel’s daily operations as well as gathering various statistical data needed for strategic planning.”

In addition to the Epitome PMS, which the Aerostar Hotel will use to manage its 300-room property, the agreement also includes POS for six outlets, interfaces and special modules available in Russia, including LIBRApass (passport registration module), fiscal interface and back office export to a Russian accounting package.

For the management of its sales and catering operations Aerostar Hotel has selected Libra OnDemand, a Software-as-a-Service offering by Libra Hospitality built on force.com platform. Aerostar will be Libra’s first customer in Russia to implement the Events Management module of Libra OnDemand. “As a marquee customer for Libra OnDemand, we are looking forward to working closely with Libra Hospitality on this project and providing our feedback and user experience on enhancing the functionality of the application to meet and exceed the demands of international banqueting and catering operations”, - commended Svetlana Afanasieva, Aerostar Hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

Epitome PMS, which is founded on Microsoft’s .NET platform and uses the Microsoft SQL Server database management system, provides a complete solution for the management of rates, availability and affinity programs for single and multi-property enterprises across multiple platforms.  Epitome PMS helps hoteliers increase operational efficiency, improve guest loyalty, maximise yield, centralise processes and increase profitability.
